Doug Amos 695 Tucker Rd., Suite C Tehachapi, CA 93561 661-822-6300 Phone
Take a flight of premium wine and taste your choice of 5 one ounce pours. The Wine and Cheese Cellar has a great selection of wine and a very knowledgeable staff to help you choose the right wine for any occasion. The interior design is exceptional and owners Doug and Mary Amos really know how to make guests feel welcome. The OzBar which is the featured part of the wine bar is an innovative wine dispensing system from Australia. The OzBar lets open wines be kept at ideal temperatures (both reds & whites) and under a closed airtight system. This allows the wine to maintain its integrity for a much longer period of time than just an open bottle pour that most wineries and wine bars utilize. As a result people enjoy the highest quality of a particular wine - taste after taste. Beer lovers should feel welcome with a premium selection of bottle beer.
Reviews Best Food in Kern County

This place was perhaps the most unexpected delight of an unassuming establishment. From the outside the Wine and Cheese Cellar looked fairly nondescript and was located such that one would not expect much out of it. To my delight this was a delicious surprise. This is by far the best food I have ever had in Tehachapi and possibly in all of Kern County. There was not much in the way of ambiance but it was more than satisfactory. They had a great wine selection including many from Central California as well as a variety of wine paraphernalia. I had the Tri-Tip sandwich for lunch that was indescribably delicious. The combination of meat, cheeses, bread and spices were incredible, so much so I asked to speak to the cook. To my surprise there were two, both of them culinary school trained chefs, both in their early twenties. They were very polite and humble but obviously very capable. They also were very knowledgeable in pairing wine and dessert, or for that matter wine with any of the food. For desert I ordered the variety plate of homemade truffles. I found out later that they were shipped in from Tennessee. They were out of this world delicious. The chef

Atmosphere is wonderful, so warm and cozy. The feta cheese pizza and the chinese chicken salad delightful. I am sure everything else is too. I just haven't tried anything else yet.
